Returns & Refunds Policy

At Leopoldine, we want you to love your jewellery! If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it in accordance with the policy below.

This policy complies with UK Consumer Rights and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which allow customers to return most online purchases within 14 days of receipt.

1. Eligibility for Returns

You can return an item if:

It is unused, unworn, and in its original packaging.

The return request is made within 14 days of receiving the order.

It is not a non-refundable or custom-made item (see exclusions below).

 

You cannot return an item if:

It is a personalized or custom-made item.

It is a hygiene-sensitive item (e.g., earrings for pierced ears, due to health regulations).

The item has been damaged, altered, or worn.

 

Condition: Returned items must be in resalable condition, including original packaging (e.g., box, pouch, gift bags).

2. How to Request a Return

Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order at hello@leopoldine.co.uk with:

-        Your order number.

-        The reason for the return.

We will provide return instructions and the return shipping address.

✔ Ship the item back within 14 days after your return request is approved.

 

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email.

If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part.

 

Late or missing refunds: If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days, please check with your bank or payment provider before contacting us.

4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need an exchange, contact us at hello@leopoldine.co.uk within 7 days of delivery.

 

If the item is in stock, we will send a replacement after receiving the returned item.

If the item is out of stock, we will issue a refund or offer an alternative product.

5. Who Covers Return Shipping?

Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless:

The item was incorrect or faulty upon arrival.

The return is due to an error on our part.

 

Lost return packages: We recommend using a tracked shipping service. We are not responsible for lost return packages.

6. Incorrect Addresses & Unclaimed Packages

If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we will contact you to arrange a reshipment.

Reshipping fees will apply, and customer is responsible for reshipping costs.

If you no longer want the item, we will issue a refund minus the shipping costs.
